http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bmw6b76smPQendofvid [starttext]A leak does not always constitute an external leak. In this particular case it was leaking internally. A fuel system can leak internally in a multitude of ways, from the pump check valve, fuel injector, regulator. Any one of these can cause residual pressure to bleed off. [endtext]

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GohdFuJA338endofvid [starttext]Thanks for putting this content on. I am in the US and have a USDM STi 04. Most of us found that if you repack the housing with grease, it lessens the friction on the components. I have a grease fitting installed .it seems to be the right rears as well. Of course it is a quick fix to a problem that will return , but if you have a fitting it's less of a pain. [endtext]

I plan to media blast and bring my car down to bare metal everywhere before body work. Why are people doing sculpted body work right over the paint job? Is that ok? It seems liek a poor idea - especially since your just going to have to buzz it all down later to re-paint the car..... unless you just paint over it? yikes. I [endtext]

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nB4AQfDmdKMendofvid [starttext]I flushed the coolant, replaced the thermostat and it would still want to climb up into almost the red. I ragged on it one night until it was in the red and it was running excellent, no signs of overheating or engine knock. I came to the conclusion that it was the temp. sensor. Also, I have a slight suspicion the car was flood damaged thus it would make sense that electrical stuff like that started to randomely fail. I'm pretty sure it was the temp sensor cause I did everything I could to diag. [endtext]

To me it still sounds like you have air in the system as it is the #1 thing that causes an overheat in a Honda especially after that much work. BTW I'm not a fan of aftermarket T-stats for Honda's either as they don't work as well as the OE, you can tell that just by looking at them really. [endtext]

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NVPq5nI7BAendofvid [starttext]fortunately, many major brands changed their formulas especially with the number of modern cars requiring phosphate free / silicate free formulas. you would be OK if the coolant used was a phosphate free / silicate free formula. regardless of color. many European car makers wanted phosphate free is because is due to the hard water content they have in Europe. so if you mix coolants containing phosphates plus the hard water they use in Europe corrosion can occur.
